Since 2019, BADESOFA Interior Design GmbH from Cologne has been transforming the bathing experience into a moment of pure relaxation. Founders Natalie Steger and Annika Götz, experts in textile development and market research, wanted to leave behind the familiar discomfort of traditional bathtubs – and created something unique: the BADESOFA.

This innovative, ergonomic bath cushion gently embraces the body, provides perfect support, and turns every bath into a luxurious, spa-like retreat. An experience for all the senses – relaxation at the highest level.

2019 - Where It All Began

Founding of Badesofa Interior Design GmbH
What began as a simple wish for more comfort in the bathtub grew into a bold idea: bringing design and wellness into everyday life. In 2019, we launched our first product in Cologne – the original BADESOFA.

2021 - A Stage for Innovation

TV appearance on Germany’s Shark Tank
Our television appearance on Germany’s version of Shark Tank captured the attention of millions. This moment was a true turning point: it established us as a respected wellness brand and proved that comfort, design, and self-care can truly inspire people.

2022 - Growing with Vision

Team Expansion & New Headquarters
In 2022, as demand grew, so did our team – we moved into a new, inspiring office in Cologne. Today, we work in a creative, family-friendly atmosphere where good ideas meet great design and innovation can be felt every single day.

2023 – Wellness Goes Global

Launch of the US Company, NY
To bring the Badesofa experience forward, we founded our US subsidiary in New York City. Not only do we deliver moments of pure relaxation to our customers in the USA, but we also grow in content and vision through valuable exchanges between our teams.

2024 – New Category Launch

Floating Lounger – the POOLSOFA
Rethinking and evolving comfort is what drives us. That’s why we are proud to present the POOLSOFA, expanding our collection into the outdoor segment for the very first time.
